There are some moments in life when God interrupts our ordinary with something extraordinary — not to impress us, but to awaken us. Moses wasn’t looking for a miracle that day. He was simply tending sheep… doing the usual… walking through the wilderness. But then — a bush on fire, yet not consumed. A sight that made him turn aside. And that’s where everything changed. 📖 “When the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him…” Sometimes God is waiting for us to pause… to turn aside… to pay attention. What blesses me is this: Before God gave Moses an assignment, He gave him an encounter. Before He sent Moses to Pharaoh, He invited him to holy ground. Before He spoke purpose, He revealed identity — “I am the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.” Moses hid his face, overwhelmed by the holiness of God… yet God still called his name. 💛 Your burning bush may not look like fire — it may be a moment, a whisper, a conviction, a scripture, a conversation — but when God is drawing you, the ground beneath you becomes holy. If you feel God tugging at your heart in this season, don’t rush past it. Turn aside. Listen. The same God who called “Moses, Moses” still calls His children by name.
